Findlay Creek neighbourhood
Findlay Creek is a suburban neighbourhood in Riverside South-Findlay Creek Ward, in the south end of Ottawa. The Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton began rezoning the future urban area in May 1988, and the Leitrim Community Design Plan was initiated in November 2003 to guide a mix of land uses and housing types. Before development, the area was mostly undeveloped, with a mix of residential, industrial and institutional uses. The 2021 census counted 14,280 residents and 4,470 private dwellings in the Ottawa Neighbourhood Study area.
